The delegation was organized and supported by DTI Region 2, bringing products from across Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Batanes to a national trade platform that drew over 300 MSMEs from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The 20-MSME lineup covered a broad product range: traditional delicacies, processed and value-added food products, innovative snacks, locally crafted beverages, fresh agricultural produce, and handcrafted items. That diversity is deliberate. DTI Region 2's trade fair strategy has long prioritized product mix as a competitive advantage, recognizing that Cagayan Valley's distinct regional identity, from Ybanag-rooted crafts to Batanes-specific food products, draws consistent buyer interest that more uniform regional delegations cannot replicate.

The fair served three simultaneous business purposes: generating direct cash sales, booking future orders from institutional buyers and distributors, and gathering real-time market feedback on product competitiveness, packaging preferences, and pricing. That last function matters as much as the revenue. An MSME that leaves the National Food Fair knowing exactly which product moved, which packaging was picked up and put down, and which price points triggered hesitation has a better product development roadmap than any workshop could provide.

The DTI Region 2 Market Access Machine
